The match game. This reflection about
how I make this game.
This happened in 11 on November
2015. When I taught KG A student’s literacy lesson. In the circle time I
started to give them a normal routine and different questions about the lesson
and the letters. Then I wrote letters (a, p , t, s, o, d, n, g, I, m) on vests
and called students up one-by-one to put on their letters vest. While, the other
students discussing who had the same letter. After I finish, I wore my vest and modeled behavior that is not allowed when touching their vests, reaffirming
that they should keep their vest nice. Next, I asked students to close their eyes and
put their heads down. At the same time, I put the flash cards of letters in
different areas in the classroom. After I finish, I asked students to open and try
to find their letters. I helped them by asked them questions like: where is your
letter, find your letter. After they found their letters I asking each group,
what their letter is? And they answer.
The students were knew this game before,
so they don’t need to explain the instructions again.
I feel the students was very interesting
and tried help other to find their letters
I think this activity very useful and
helps students to learn by fun and interesting way and through participating
and movement. Also, engage the students and change the routine. Moreover, I
think this activity support kinetic students and encourage them before do the
centers.
