Lesson 4

The match game. This reflection about how I make this game.

This  happened in  11 on November 2015. When I taught KG A student’s  literacy lesson. In the circle time I started to give them a normal routine and different questions about the lesson and the letters. Then I wrote letters (a, p , t, s, o, d, n, g, I, m) on vests and called students up one-by-one to put on their letters vest. While, the other students discussing who had the same letter. After I finish, I wore my vest and modeled behavior that is not allowed when touching their vests, reaffirming that they should keep their vest nice.  Next, I asked students to close their eyes and put their heads down. At the same time, I put the flash cards of letters in different areas in the classroom. After I finish, I asked students to open and try to find their letters. I helped them by asked them questions like: where is your letter, find your letter. After they found their letters I asking each group, what their letter is? And they answer.

The students were knew this game before, so they don’t need to explain the instructions again.
I feel the students was very interesting and tried help other to find their letters

I think this activity very useful and helps students to learn by fun and interesting way and through participating and movement. Also, engage the students and change the routine. Moreover, I think this activity support kinetic students and encourage them before do the centers.

Lesson 3

Problems without MST. This reflection about how I solved these problems at the same time.

This  happened in  ninth of November 2015. My MST was absent and I have to teach them one lesson because my MCT will present and evaluate me. I started to teach them math lesson. The first problem when I set in the circle with students, I put to them song with a video about the numbers but the projector doesn’t work.  I tried to fix the problem, but I can’t and I didn’t want to lose more time. So, I play the song without a screen and I do the actions and the students imitate me. The second problem was in the centers. When the students start to did their work. I find difficulties to monitor all  students in the centers because I have to sit with a focus group also. So, I tried to explain to each group what they must to do in the circle then I let them to go.

In that time I feel very nervous and I tried to manage the class and follow the lesson plan. Also, I tried to solve and challenged the problems at the  same time.

I think this experiment  gives me more experience in classroom management and organize the time.  as well as, it will help me in the future

lesson 2

The hide game. This reflection about how I make this game.

This  happened in  fourth of November 2015. When I taught KG B student’s  literacy lesson. In the circle time I started to give them a normal routine and different questions.  Then I asked them to cover their eyes, then I  hid the flashcards of the letters in different places in the classroom. After that I  put to them fast music and I asked them to open their eyes and  look around the classroom and try to find one letter. If they find one letter they must to set in the carpet and wait their friend until they finish.

At the beginning of the game not all students understood what I mean. But when they saw their friends, they understood more. I tried to encourage them by music and ask them some questions like: did you find any letter? Where are the letters? Try to find the letter, quickly . Finally the students found all letters and sit on the carpet and make the circle again. I started to ask each student what he or she found and make them hold the card up to make sure that all students can see the card. Also I asked them to read the letter and make the sound.

I think the students love this activity and learn from this activity by fun and interesting way. Also, make them try to participate in the classroom. Moreover, I think this activity support kinetic students and encourage them before do the centers.
